Who should be vice president?

None of the aforementioned should be elected as the present system of voting in the NFU has more in common with North Korea than with a civilised western democracy. Just when are the other 99% of the membership going to be allowed to vote for the Presidential team?? Why does the NFU Council prevent the ordinary members of the NFU from voting in this election? Is it because they think we are too simple to make the choice of who will run the Union or is it because they want to keep control within the cosy confines of Council ensuring that at least one of their mates will eventually be one of the top team with power over the common peasants. It is unfair, unfit for purpose and it stinks of cronyism. Time for a change.

Paul is a very capable gentleman. With his absence from the role of NFU officeholder I feel he needs to start where he left off, build his confidence back up and run for President next time. He certainly has the right credentials to be a future leader of the NFU.
