People, please read the question. Obviously, Brady is the better QB historically. If he wins another SuperBowl, there will serious discussions about whether he is the greatest QB of all time. But, if you are building a team RIGHT NOW, based on the age difference, you may have to go Eli.

It pisses me off that you all think Brady is on the decline. He threw for more yards this season than his first ten years and somehow carried a team with the 2nd worst defense in the HISTORY of the NFL to the Super Bowl. If that's not enough, he's said himself that he feels better than ever and wants to play well into his forties. He had some turnovers against the Ravens but Eli threw about 8 balls that hit 49ers defenders in the hands. He threw one so bad that the safety and corner collided into each other. Tom Brady has better stats and more rings. 31 and 34 years of age in the NFL for QB's really doesnt mean that much, and just watching Tom Brady take a sneak on 4th and goal and the emotion on that huge spike after the sneak. Toms got more heart and more skill.

unlike what one obviously biased report says, brady CAN be rattled. just watch any game (including the 2007 SB). if the pass rush is there he starts missing receivers, etc.

Brady is a product of the system. when he went down, the team still had double digit wins. on a side note of the same order, this is the year when peyton manning should really win the MVP, because he proved, by being injured, that the team is completely useless (hopeless?), without him thus making him the most valuable player.

Brady has a lot of life left, and already has 3 rings and will finish his season with over 40,000 career yards, mathmetically I don't see Manning ever approaching his totals although I see Manning remaining a force to be reckoned with for another 7 to 10 years and probably has a few more years remaining than Brady. Based on history, I'd go with Brady. If I took a QB RIGHT NOW, go with Manning. Someone mentioned how Brady spread the ball around more. Why would Eli wanna fix something that ain't broken? Stats don't lie. Look at QB ratings of yesterdays games! Eli was great, while Brady was dismal.

I chose Tom Brady as he has consistently been the keystone of this team. Brady developes a corp of recievers each year. He spreads the ball around and gives everyone a chance to participate. He reads the defense better than any quarterback in the league. The only drawback is that he is not very mobile, on the other hand neither is Eli Manning. When it comes to offenses, you have to go with the proven winner.
