Rose, you do know that Obama never follows through on anything he says,don't you? His one claim to fame is that he gives good speeches. He couldn't care less about uniting Americans or helping anyone but himself.

My opinion: I agree with all comments above. However, both are wrong also. This was another deliberate attempt by this person in WH to scam everybody. He deliberately wants to have class warfare because that way he will probably be re-elected. It is a scam. My telephone bill (land line and cell phone bills have gone up to pay for free cell phones and minutes for the low income. Baloney. I earned mine and I expect them to earn theirs. There is too much giving to low income and not enough earning going on. I sympathize with them but I also feel that government parasites should not be coddled anymore. There are many jobs out there and they should attempt to get them. This person had the opportunity to create jobs via Keystone pipeline and was shovel ready and would not cost anything. It was first approved by State Dept and then along comes BO and jinxed it. Too many people are not getting jobs in oil exploration from Gulf Coast and I think BO defying a judge's orders to resume drilling permits. He constantly defies laws and shreds the Constitution to fit his scheme of things. He has even ignored a subpoena from a Georgia court to appear as far as I know citing " presidential duties interruption"! You may not want to vote republican this year but stop and think about all the lies that he as told and wants you to hear and then does what he wants to do anyway regardless of what the American people want. (Obama healthcare and many others and watch for citizens for illegal immigrants just to get votes.) He is only one branch of the government as stated by the Constitution but he has overextended his space and taken over the Judicial branch and Congress with "I will do whatever I can to get my way and what I order." Laws are made by Congress (and does not include Harry Ried's version of laws)
Bills have been sent to Senate and are tabled because H.Reid don't like them. He cannot be allowed to rule the Senate with only one voice. I have given you many samples of what is wrong with this administration and what has to change or we have lost our freedoms and liberty that too many soldiers and veterans have fought so well to see that we keep them.
Please give lots of thought to your vote and don't vote because he is black or 1/2 black, good
looking and a great speaker as long as he has teleprompter to use. Vote for what he stands for

Obama all the way!!! Everything he said in his state of union address is correct on how to make our economy grow. Our congress and house need to pull together and put their petty differences aside to work as a united union for America not for themselves. At first I thought that it was just the rep. senators and congress that are self serving, but after seeing the law they have passed for themselves for insider trading, we have a Congress and House that are all self serving. Republicans and Democrats are both working to make themselves richer and we as Americans are paying them to do this. Repeal this bill as soon as possible as Obama ask. They are talking out both sides of their mouth by having the ability to do this telling Americans were are doing everything to make America better, but behind our backs they are secretly betting against us to line their own pockets. Against the law to anyone else to do. AMERICAN GREED!!! Congress and The House are not doing their jobs by working together and doing what is best for America, so why are we paying them. If you do not work, you do not get paid. That is the way most of the jobs work in America.
We need to go to a flat tax across the board of 10 %. No deductions for anything, anyone, anywhere straight tax of 10%. If money comes to you or corporation, be it cash, or what ever flat tax. You say to many IRS worker out of work. Put them in charge of Medicare and Medicaid fraud. That would take care of overcharging people for health care services.
I am really ASHAMED, as an American, to see the Republican, during the state of the union address, staying in their seats and not standing up to support Our President and Our Country and Our Renewal. Traders they are and they know to whom I am speaking. Shame on you.
