I support LaRoche only if he can get his offensive game back on track. If not, bench him and put Morse at first.

Thats assuming we could still get Adam Jones. Knowing the O's, they wanted what we gave to Oakland for Gio. And I'm still not sold on Upton. He's got an attitude and is not a lead off hitter. I like Adam at first. The best defensive first baseman on the league and of his bat can get back to for I like him. But that's IF his bat gets back to form.
I'm not unhappy with him because we didn't get Fielder, I'm unhappy with him because it should be Morse. We should have gotten our center fielder (we still can in Adam Jones or BJ Upton) then have Harper and Werth on the corners. Morse at first. Adam Laroche eats up most of the pinch-hits and rest days for Morse (or when an OF needs rest, move Morse out there and put Laroche in.
