Statistically speaking, Lowry is much better than Parker. The only thing Parker has on Lowry is that he averages 3 more points than him. Other than that, Lowry averages more assists, rebounds, ft%, 3-pt %, steals, and blocks. Not to mention, Lowry is much better in the clutch as a team leader.
I say Lowry without a doubt.

If this is about an individuals ability to make his team better Tony Parker takes this with a steal. Last year the spurs had the second best record in the NBA and the only player that got the All star nod was Tim? Tony has consistently been a top 4 point guard every year he's been in the NBA. Finals MVP, 3 championships, 49% career fg% not to mention he's averaging 8.1 assists on the season. His highest career total. He's not only worthy but still improving as a player.
Ellis is outstanding but not outstanding enough to lead his team to a winning record.
Lowry is also a great player but he can't play D, can't score, and cant throw passes the way Parker can.

tony parker definetly deserves da spot...i mean come on he gots da stats to prove it...dis is probably da last time he is going to have dis opportunity...da other guys still have many years left to go...

Why is this even a question/debate??? Monta Ellis CLEARLY deserves it after being absolutely robbed of it last year. IMO, how good the team's record is isn't a huge factor in deciding an All-Star because it is an individual award. It is based entirely on what the player does on his own and Ellis averages top 5 in the league in points and, if I remember correctly, top 20 in the league in assists. Plus, considering he averaged 25 points a game last year and didn't get in, he deserves it.

Ok screw the stats cuz a lot of what Lowry does is NOT on this page... Lowry truly does makes his teammates better.. shoot I like tony parker (mom hates him) but Lowry works harder and he has truly improved , his shooting is way better than before (cept for the MIL game) but yeah

Of course TP deserves the spot, them boys in Sa always deserve a spot but they get no credit because they play in small market and and the nba advertises the C's, Lakes, Clipps now and MIA. Come on 4 champs and nba mvp and this year he had to step up his game cause of manu being out.

i think kyle lowry should go because he means more to his team than both of those guys he is putting up a career year and can only get better he defends and he makes other players better he also scores when he needs to a true point guard he is young and this would be a big confidence booster for his career and also for the team knowing that they have an all-star on bored he put in the work and now i think it should be recognized if you watch him every game like i do you would see he never quit he gets the job done he is very underrated .

TP should go because international player have like -95% of chance to go to the All-Star game.... people prefer voting for an injured and/or sick american player rather than a "superstar" coming from any other country in the world....
Lowry will get his chance of making the ASG...he is a new, young, up & coming PG...and he has not given us any signs of capabilities that deserves an ASG spot....Take a look at D-Rose and what he did/does in Chicago, Kemba Walker is not bad in Charlotte (does not deserve a spot yet) , Kyrie Irving in Cleveland (same as Walker), even Brandon Jennings has achieved more than Lowry

If its on stats then i'd go with TP, but maybe lowry deserves a chance. He's having his best season yet, and maybe he should get his chance.

For the best stats he has onthe apg since the beginning of his career, TP deserves it!
Big up for him.
