عاش عاش بو سلمان .... عاش عاش الخليفة.... this is the voice of true Bahraini's ... The international media specially iranian channels showing the The police killing the peacefull protestors..(so funny)... Peaceful protesters never hold molotov bombs , swords , steel rods , stones and acid in there hands to attack on police forces.. and there are many evidences in the shape of video that so called peaceful protestors attacking on police force with molotovs etc.. Then y some ppl say that the rulers are killing the protestors .. They should come and look how peacefully police dealing with these terrorists.. and some foreigners blame on bahraini government ... Please for God sake if you don't believe then come one day and spend with police while they are dealing with terrorists to save the civilians, then they will know who is peaceful... الهم احفظ البحرين

Bunch of lazy lot wants free house , food and money for the Government. They have been Brainwashed to think that the so called Democracy will bring them free things without having to work for it. Learn what is democracy first. In democracy all have to work their asses out to earn and develop their nations collectively.
The bunch asking for democracy do not even have the education or decency to sit on a table to discuss & solve their problems. All they know is how to burn tires, garbage and throw molotov.
What a rotten bunch of good for nothings!!!!!

  • L.A.A - 12 years ago

These protests give protesters and protests in general a bad name. Protests are legitimate methods of expression that aim for the betterment of an issue or a country. The rioters in Bahrain have taken the country hostage for over a year and have not participated in any kind of dialogue or negotiation. The only goal seems to be escalation and damage. They endanger our roads by pouring oil and burning tires. They throw molotov cocktails at passing civilian cars. I have had two incidents with these rioters where they have thrown rock and burned tires around me with my children in the car. Our police is trying to subdue them with tear gas but it isn't enough. I want my country back my country where security and safety issues were never a concern. A country of tolerance and freedom where Bahraini and expats of all origins and religions thrived. The rioters have started escalating their terror by attacking expats, the latest attack was when they chopped off two fingers of a British citizen while trying to carjack his car. There is a sense of constant fear and frustration intermingling with the smell of burning tires and tear gas. Bahrainis have had enough and we demand that these rioters stop destroying our country.

  • Reem - 12 years ago

This letter represents my viewpoint. What Bahrain needs right now is for negotiating for better reforms for us all. I do not agree with violence and I do not agree with the 'protestors' taking the country hostage with molotov cocktails, spikes, garbage on the streets, blocking roads for no reason at all. Change is a good thing for us all as Bahrainis, but change should come in the form of reforms in housing, medicine, education and jobs. I support the ruling family and I also support negotiation. Al Wefaq and other political organisations should come to the negotiating table. Let us put violent actions behind us, stop with the lies and defamation and continued false reporting. The law is the law, and all citizens who break the law (burning tyres, attacking police, throwing molotovs with the intention to murder) should be tried as criminals and thrown in jail. The future of our country should be dealt with through non-violent means, we as Sunnis and Shias should be united in trying to make Bahrain better and not worse.

Yes, this is the opinion of most bahrainis and also all the expats living here (if that makes a difference).

These people, no matter how much they get, they're never happy. They used to call this shit as peaceful protesting, but I don't see anything peaceful about setting shit on fire in the middle of the road, or throwing molotovs at the police. Fools throw rocks and rods and then show peace signs. Then they throw molotovs, and again show peace signs. I don't know if they've been taught the wrong definition of the word 'peaceful' or not. But the fact is, they've raped the meaning of the word.

They think they're gonna overthrow the regime. They think they're gonna throw all the expats out. Well, a person has the right to dream. I guess that's what they're doing. :P

They're ALWAYS trying to find some excuse to create problems! If it's not this, then it's that. Sometimes it's like their excuses have expiration dates. Or maybe they just get bored of using the same excuse over and over agian, so they come up with something new. It's like it's in their blood! :P
Like recently, they started using women as an excuse to attack the police.
Usually kids grow up playing with toys and singing nursery rhymes and stuff. I guess it'll be a lil different with their kids. From the looks of it, their kids will grow up playing with molotovs and attacking each other with rocks. And well, as for singing, I don't think I need to mention what they'll be singing. It's quite obvious. :P

Any shia is most welcome to take offense to what I've just said. Not like I give a shit. Think if you wanna, that I'm trollin', but whatever I just said, is the truth. Ya'll are just too blind to see it.

And well, looking at the number of votes won't really show how many people IN BAHRAIN agree or disagree. Cuz it's very much possible that these people are getting outside help, like how they do in every other thing.

SENSELESS VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER TO BAHRAIN’S POLITICAL PROBLEMS

Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society (BHRWS) and Gulf European Centre for Human Rights (GECHR), has condemned the acts of violence on expatriates living in Bahrain, following the report that masked thugs attacked a Briton, cutting off two fingers on his right hand with a sword. The Human Rights organizations are insisting that such senseless acts of violence is not the answer to Bahrain’s political problems.

“The very core of Bahrain’s history as a friendly society, that is welcoming to all nationalities is being destroyed by this senseless violence being carried out by criminals. This does not serve a political agenda, and in fact stands in the way of any progress Bahrain can make. The criminals must be caught and punished accordingly, and protection must be provided for expatriates.”

The gruesome attack happened in Karranah, in the early morning of Friday, and followed a spate of assaults on Asian workers by anti-government gangs in the heart of Manama. The man, reportedly from Britain, was attacked by two thugs with a sword after he lost his way. They forced him to step out of his car and assaulted him before escaping in his vehicle, they added. The car was later found abandoned in Karranah and police have launched a major hunt for the attackers.

An Indian worker was among those attacked by anti-government gangs in Manama late Thursday night. In another incident Narinjan Singh Makhan Singh, who was planning to return home after having completed all formalities with the Indian Embassy, was beaten and robbed by the thugs.

He was attacked while he was on his way home with two room-mates when he stopped near a restaurant to buy food. The worker suffered injuries on his right hand, a fractured rib and multiple cuts on his body. He was planning to return to India next week to be reunited with his family whom he hasn't seen for eight years.

WE in BHRWS & GECHR stand with all Non-Government Organizations in condemning such criminal acts and ask the Bahrain Government to provide the necessary protection for foreign workers. At the same time we urge opposition leaders to come forward to the negotiating table and make a clear stance for a way forward, putting a stop to such futile violence which is destroying Bahrain’s future.

    dear Noora,

i am sure you are not a sunni and not from a big and honorable familly , from your writing i can classified you're chiia. 100% because all sunnis without exception are with our king. and with our beloved sheikh khalifa, and when you said that there is injustice , yes there is ......., when you see all student studing abroad ( scholarship) are all chiias, the king gave you more than he gave us , just to be fair . In our side, we have also a lot of sunnis looking for a job, living a modest life, but still they love their country and their king and they are ready to sacrifice their life for it,.
But You Chiias, what are you doing now , are you looking for a job , for a decent life ( As you said) noooooo You are doing better, you are destroying our economy, our daily life , our security for what?? because of "injustice" as you say no habibti its because You have an big agenda from your big BOSS Iran , you want to sell our country .
Unfortunately for you! We ( Sunnis) are awake and ready to confront all of you . We are ready to fight with words, with arms with anything, we will not give you chance to do again what you have done in Feb & March ,. If the government still want to forgive, we are still on a stand by waiting for you .... so be careful.

So why election for the prime mibister position is feard!! According to you, most bahrainis want him .. so he'll win right- through fair election

prove you all want him electing him then.

    Dear Mohamed,

Before using a big term such as democracy , please understand what it takes to acheive such status . Democracy has nothing to do with enforcing certain acts that are not acceptble by the public in the name of Democracy , as a matter of fact it stands for the exact opposite . I suggest next time you need to use a big word such as democracy understands what it actually means based on what your trying to sell us over here .

PS : As a Recommendation i think the word your looking for is not Democracy , its " NAIVE ".

  • Hamad Omran - 12 years ago

But then Again , How do you Improve the standard of Living while the Economy is being ruined by unjustified acts demanding Political Power hidden Behind the Disguise of Human Rights .

  • Hamad Omran - 12 years ago

Its very funny and ironic how certain minorities claim the demand of improving the standard of Living while utilizing shared resources to acheive exactly the opposite !!!

  • Mohamed - 12 years ago

I'm with free election. It's called democracy. If this letter reprecent 51% of Bahraini then an election will never be a problem. They will choose Al Khalifa again and again.

It will never happen and down down Hamad

It is a sectarian act not a public protest. Otherwise roads wont be quite on days when shiites have rituals or occasions.

Attacks on sunnah citizens by shiite protesters were documented and confirmed by mr bassionni.

Shiite sees all sunnah as the enemy whether it a king, minister, citizen..etc

Sometimes they forget that the time is not right and they attack sunnah people early, once they get what they want, it is another iraq. They will murder their own sunnah neighbors.

To all who have this bad picture of sunni people, ..
    1) sunni people do not go out in streets saying peaceful quotes that they never meant.
    2) They kept saying "brothers sunna and shia, but the most people they went after were sunnah.
    3) Shia people said "We will never sell this country" but the most crimes on the history of bahrain is from them.
    4) Protesters kept on saying the body of the policeman they ran over was a doll but in vedio's that showed the policeman moved his leg, so is he a doll??
    5) is everyone who dies a martyr?? well to the protesters, yes.
    6) Protesters also said that they dont block streets, seriously? well lets see .. http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2011/3/13/1300040956067/Bahraini-protesters-set-u-007.jpg
    7) Protesters said "We do not want to overthrow the government" .. then why are thesrs quotes always in their Marchs .. "People wanted to overthrow the regime" "Down Down Hamad" ect. !
    8) Protesters said, "and we accept dialogue without conditions!" but they had 12 conditions. That proves that their idiots.
    9) Protesters said "dead bodies fills our streets" .. really? i cant see any body. I think your some blind jerks.
    10) Protesters said "there are thousands of injured protesters" well if you stopped what your doing and get your butts off Bahrain there would be non.
    11) Protesters said "We do not burn the tires" ,, yeah well what is this ?! .. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZkYXCpoLgA ???
    12) One of the BIGGEST LIES that protesters had lied about was " Issa Qassem calls for peace!!!" .. yeah sure, you call all whats happening peace?
    13) Ayat al Qormezi said "They raped me and I was a virgin" first of all, who would even want to rape you? second of all, Shiite clerics said that having sex in the shia Doctrine was allowed, so i thing one of your shia men had raped you not our sunna men cause they were raised the right way ;)
    14) also, protesters said "Khawaja is being raped in prison" .. whose the pig that would want to rape a donkey like you? second of all, as i said sunna men are raised the right way.
    15) Because protesters are some garbage they were too scared to say the truth so they said that the policeman hit "zahraa Mohammed Saleh Haidar" with a sick made from iron. Zahra is a young lady who's 27 years old. she Died in 11/18. RIP Zahra :(
    16) Protesters said "This revolution is not a sectarian" ,, ofcourse its not, its just sunna vrs. shia, right?!
    17) Protesters said "we will return to the pearl roundabout" .. well i assure you that when hell freezes you'll go back there. Yeah by the way its not a roundabout its AlFarooq Junction.
    18) Have you heard about the Imam who had his tounge choped off by protesters? well the protesters had lied and said he fell off the roof, cut off his tounge then he hit himself all alone. can you believe this shit? i don't.
    19) Protesters said that the white color in thw faces of injured protesters was from the impact of toxic gass. Another lie, even with the white paint theyre faces to me look black!
    20) The day were the protesters were protesting in a public mall (City Centre Mall) ,, they lied and said that they were just shopping. im sure that they were in naiomi shop.
    21) FEBRUARY 14 IS ALL A BIG, HUGE LIE.
There are many more lies about protesters!! but till now this is the only ones i can remember ;D .. all of you will see me here soon posting more and more about lies and theyre rudness!

And still the world says their peceful ! What are you blind ?!!!! America and all the world take your hands off ?! These are terrorists what they deserve is to get killed ! They killed people just because they are Sunni ? They did a lot of things and proved it many times they even don't know what peacful means !

He is destroying this peaceful country by pushing these youngster . What an HR activist that breaks the country's law by pushing youngsters into unauthorised protesting & leading them to confront the policemen & than to injuries. Should be removed.

  • Hawa Almeer - 12 years ago

Those protesters do not represent the poeple of Bahrain . They form only 46 %of the population . We are the majority of the poeple of Bahrain and we are happy with our monarcky regieme . We were living peacefully untill these protesters started thier action on Feb. 2011 we are being terrorised by thier vandallisim . It has been going on ever since . It in noway an expression of a legall right . Thier aim is to raise a sectarian indifference which could lead to a civil war i call these protesters to go back to thier senses and stop burning thier own country

  • Ayman - 12 years ago

Shiitesfabrication and lying will get them no where. How come all of a sudden in bahrain no one dies a normal death??!! Your people are immediately announced as martyrs. This is quite a joke. Don't forget we also live in this SMALL island and know how these people passed away. Some by drugs O.D. others by HIV, organ failures heart diseases, BP etc. By far the government has succeeded in its policy when confronting protestors to minimise use of weapons and avoid injuries because they know they're dealing with top class fabricators. Lying champions of the world. Dispocable Nabeel rajab never reported deaths and casualties of police, innocent civilians(local and expats) killed with cold blood by his fellow gangsters, he never reported torcher to sunnis on the hands of shiite terrorists. The cutting of the tongue of a bangali sunni due to obvious sactarian hatred, and you want us to stay quiet. NO and a thousand NO. Let the world know what you are throwing at us and we are tolerating for the sake of our government that brought us to compassion and unity before your dirty plots came on the scene. Please leave us be let us live in peace like the good old days before feb 2011.

  • Ayman - 12 years ago

How come us sunnis never felt unjusted life was smooth and beautiful until shiite terrorists decided to ruin all beautiful meanings. It is disgusting to see highly ranked and well paid people complain that they are poor and unjusted. How come my superiors are all shiites at my governmental post??!!! If there was any such sectarian racism i should've been the superior. Yet everything in bahrain is based on equity and just. You shiites don't want this, so don't complain about being gased because your protests have become brutal and dangerous in a what was known as a peacful loving community. Ask bahrain's expats what they think of shiites daily vandalism and what they thought of bahrain before feb 2011. I guarantee you non will suppot shiites terrorist acts. They left the country and we lost many investments thanks to stupid shiite terrorists. I used to live in jidhafs. Yet i had to leave due to thugs blocking roads to my yome carrying swords and axes i am quite sure they were not hesitant to use against any peaceful passer by because it did happen. Your plot is now exppsed shiites stop lying to the world, terrorisind innocent and peacful humans will make us hate you more and more. Go back to your minds and live peacfully and i guarantee no one will ever bother you, but when you delibtrately block highways and roads, spell oil on roads use molotov cocktails on civilians as well as police don't blame the police that gas you to keep us safe. Be thankful to God that it is only gas they use go check other countries riot police they shoot to kill on spot those who throw stones at them. Please go back to your senses. Besides if it hoising, the process is slow for everyone including me. I've been waiting for the past 12 years yet this will notake me go out to the street terrifying innocent civilians or even force the noble ones of the shiite sect that wish to live the peaceful life we all had once to join your criminal cause that we reject. If you are not satisfied living the heavenly life we're living go back to your original countries , I'm certain it won't be hard, cos you go back as far as 1917 only in bahrain. Please understand our lives were never a mess before you people decided to make it so. Our king was creating a beautiful future and as we started touching it as it bloomed you came to chop it off what kind of plot is this? Who is moving you? Stop being a puppet and you'll live as free as us.

Protsters in Bahrain are criminals killing police man attacking people specially Sunni so how com they wana rule this country. It's for al khalifa and that's it

  • Talal - 12 years ago

Nabeel rajab is a criminal he is leading the Shia to the wrong path. I personally believe that the protesters should have a dialogue with the government and try to have and ending for issue that we face in our beloved kingdom we have a bright future in this country and a vision in 2030 let's not destroy that. My point of view that the Bahrain govrment should do some reforms like increaseing the salary of the bahrain citzen that the major thing that the govrment should. But I don't know about America if they want to give Bahrain to Persia as a gift like what happen in Iraq . I am asking to you people when saddam regime collapse and the American army killed million of Iraq people what are the results people will die so I am asking to the American govrment leave us alone to handle the suition that we face in Bahrain. The protesters is represting other country and agenda and you know that claiming that they are asking for democracy and they have it but blocking the road and killing people is terror attack and we should have a end for that.

  • Khalifa - 12 years ago

What is going on in Bahrain is not about Nabeel Rajab at all. It is about 1000s of innocent ordinary civilians losing their jobs just because they expressed their opinion. It is about students losing their rights to education just because they belonged to the shite sect, it is about hospital converted to terror camps and constant daily harassements of patients , it is about being gassed daily in our villages . It is about the terror that the government is subjecting us to day in and out . It is about these spiteful people who lost their humanity and all they are concerned about is their interest in getting the jobs and housing of the shia
Wake up to the truth it cannot be coloured or covered
The shia are being subjected to organised government terror. Do not be blinded to the suffering of the majority just because you may not agree with their demands
Hatred is the tool of the evil soul

  • Ayman - 12 years ago

It is so bizzare to know that shiites who were brought to bahrain from eaat saudi province & iraq, not earlier than 1917 to carry oit all dirty works that are not for the noble sunnis, that all the original settlers and the true land lords, such as farming, agriculture, cleaning of pots, making straw baskets, fishing, tailoring, etc., or by naming their families by the name of area they were accommodated, exactly as their family names tell us that they had no origin or arabic family names. Moreover, those that were brought from iran to clean drainage and carry out the dirtiest of works. these same people who took over the lands from the original land owners who migrated from bahrain due to plague and cholerra, now want to take over bahrain with a fabricated revolution, A BIG LIE, and claim rights in a country that has rights I did not see elsewhere but in western countries yet we don't pay taxes which makes us a far better country as we enjoy free medication, education, subcidised consumables and fuel in addition to allowances that is offerd to the needy and the jobless. We are free to express our views in every way. Unfortunately some people abused this freedom and civilized democracy beyond believe, they want to takeover the country!! I even believe that those who have voted with no have many accounts and have surly vaoted more than once to fabricate the result, as they have been doing since the start of their shameful, atrocious attempt to destory beloved bahrain.

Yes, Nabeel Rajab does not represent me because he is a sectarian and not expose the facts as it is. I hope that you stop supporting this big lier instigator of all that does is incite children to sabotage and kill police officers and I support the rule of Al Khalifa, and King Hamad was never a sectarian. And all published by Nabeel Rajab of murders, rapes, tortures and the threats are untrue and I demand removal of Nabeel Rajab, as an activist for human rights. Because I love my country and defend him like any honest citizen I must make clear all the lies that harm me first and my country. It's time to criminalize all acts of Nabeel Rajab, the fake activist for human rights, because it harms all Human Rights associations.

The Government of Bahrain has been raping the authority for decades. They've been treating the whole country as if it was their own home and the people of Bahrain as their slaves but the fact they are not. The Bahraini people have had enough of this and they've raised their voices loudly to down with the criminal regime. Everyone should know that there is no force will ever stop the rev of the Bahraini's and thats simply because they are fighting for their legitimate rights and every single one of them is ready to die for his lost right to live as a real human being. The US must stop supporting the criminal family. Shame on the US and every dictator supporter.

The Government of Bahrain has been hiding the truth about the killing and touchers of young men and raping young girls. If it was not for the human rights protection for Nabeel Rajab the world would have not come to the truth and every Bahraini who is going to voice his opinion would have been killed or put in jail. Most of Bahraini people in Bahrain *Shia and Suni* does not want Al Khalifa to Run the country, I wish freedom for Bahrainis from this Government.

I am a Bahraini citizen and before the privilege of being a Bahraini, I'm a human being! for the past 12 months, we have been suffering from AlWefaq militias in my country who are known as the 'opposition' in Bahrain! unfortunately, western media proved to be biased in covering the truth about Bahrain! they have been blinded by 'peaceful' protester who actually try to polish their image infront of each and every western media..leaving behind transparency and truth about the fake revolution supported only by Iran and welayat al faqih's supporters! Human rights supported all human wrongs in Bahrain! they never condemned any crimes by alwefaq militias! I'm saddened to learn that media can be that biased! Media focused only on alwefaq militias as if they represent the entire society! a tunnel vision they had and blinded by lies, fabricated facts and more lies!
Freedom of speech is the right of every human, but when a Human rights activist incites violence in protests and supports the use of Molotov cocktails to be thrown at citizens and policemen, he must be discredited immediately! sad that many western media believe what ever he says without any proof to support his claims! media's transparency in covering facts has gone down the drain!! Nabeel rajab is secterian and a pure liar!! he is devoted to welayat al faqih and will do anything to fulfil Iran's greed in bahrain !!

  • Ali - 12 years ago

The criminal Government of Bahrain is trying to shine its image by publishing lies about the opisition's and the people's true demands.
We demand freedom without the sectarian rolling of the royal family (Al Khalifa)
    And down with Hamad

  • Khalid - 12 years ago

Nabeel Rajab and Al wefaq are a sectarian organization that only represent shia. How can we have a democratic pluralistic society when the President Obama only wants to acknowledge shia political organizations and that bahrain is majority shia! I dare him and any other news publications to back up that claim.. when has a sectraian population census ever happened in bahrain?

the truth will always win in the end, and I hope the US congress and media organization would look into the matter themselves instead of hanging on the every word of corrupt 'human rights' activists like nabeel rajab and maryam khawaja.

    I agree with this letter

nabil rajab dose not represent me or even bahraini national an Iranian Muppet a traitor regarding his sectarian Iranian loyalty a human right activates " he is not " when you see him pushing youth to clash with local police man and watching and waiting for one of them to die so he can call and say oh we got a martyr just watch this vid and you well see how clearly it was not a revolution http://www.vimeo.com/24968982
i know more and more atrocities happened and i still demand justice not more not less and eye for an eye .

We Bahrainis have suffered from the lies & fabrications from the likes of Nabeel Rajab, Ali Salman & Wefaq. It's crystal clear to the int media that these parties are guilty of huge misrepresention in Bahrain, so why do the major media organizations like still take these compulsive liars word for events in Bahrain? I believe this is one of the major problems we face since ,the master of ceremonies-Nabeel Rajab is continuously spreading false news thru his int media connections & hired PR groups to stoke up tension amongst his exclusively teenage pack of rioters. Leading them to clash with the Bahrain police in the hopes that 1 of his pack get killed giving them a new Martyr & continuing the cycle of hate & violence.

  • Ali - 12 years ago

People are getting sick of being terrorized in Bahrain by brainwashed youths. I'm not Pro-Govt at all, but they are destroying Bahrain and it looks like they are enjoying it. Friends of mine (who are Shia also) have been attacked by Molotovs while driving and many had their houses graffiti-ed. What gives them the right to destroy private property? Do they even know what they're protesting for? If you want to protest, do it peacefully please. (Peaceful does not mean blocking highways or screaming out slogans in the middle of the night. Some of us have children that need sleep and people have the right to be able to access hospital facilities in the event of an emergency. You can't do that when all roads have been barricaded). Anyway, I'm sick of this chaos and most people are too. Stop pointing fingers at everyone else and take a look at yourself for a minute.

  • Bahraini regardless of oppositions lies - 12 years ago

Yes ...For long time ago, I would like to hear a neutral view not only the anti-government point of view. I lived a horrible days during the revolution month, why no one is hearing me. I'm not pro-government just by chance. I have demands from the government, from the opposition and from the international activist... I'm exist, so don't ignore me. COPY IF U AGREE ME.>>

These videos represent my point of view:

Nab eel rajab is just a poppet and be easily given the order to set down. He already hurt a lot of youth by giving nothing but lies. Why is a 10 year old protesting. This never happened in the states even or Hollywood.

  • Layla - 12 years ago

It's ironic that you are still referring to them as "peaceful protestors"! anyways, if all Bahrainis agreed with these anarchists would you still be running this pole? as for Nabeel Rajab, if you follow his tweets in Arabic you would find that they allude to intentional deceit of international media and HR organizations when describing events in Bahrain. Besides how can an HR activist incite teens to march into protests using molotovs.

  • zahra - 12 years ago

how will you count the votes and will you please check the IP addresses prior to publishing results. We must make sure all votes are from bahrain not from anywhere else. And i hope that people can only vote ONCE

  • Ahmed - 12 years ago
