Do you agree there should be a 3-bag limit on curbside garbage?

I knew this would happen. Tipping fees for contractors are much higher than they were when the garbage collectors were city employees. It's my understanding that Eddie sits on the board, and has had this in mind . I have no doubt that this is a way to address the increasing costs of having our services privatized.

I voted no because there will be dumping. That doesn't mean I don't believe in recycling.

If I have very little garbage one week, and lots the next, I don't want to have to store garbage until the following week. Or if I forget to take it out one week, or I'm on vacation. Too much hassle.

I do not believe that a limit will change the amount going into the landfill at all! People who don't want to bother with the Three R's will not, and will get rid of their garbage another way.

I can't believe people still don't get that we are killing our planet. I was shocked to see the votes are lead by "no limit". Unbelievable people. Please do some research on why you need to put an effort into GREEN living. I am so sad about this. I thought we were closer to understanding as a whole the effects of our behaviors.

I think 3 bags of garbage is very sufficient. I live in a household with 4 people and usually put out only 2 bags of garbage. However, I take out about 6 huge containers on recycling day. I feel that more people need to recycle. I don't see what the big deal is whether your waste is going in a garbage bag or a recycling bin. Put recyclables where they belong.

I have tenants, 3 bags won't cut it and to charge for more. I pay $4000.00 a year in taxes. A limit I don't think so. I will not pay another dime in tax money for any thing. If this is the case(a limit) there are OTHER options. Keep going FrankenEddie Windsor is going to become one big toilet. Pick up what I'm laying down.

I feel it honestly depends on the penalty for having more than three bags, most people are already struggleing with money I think it would cause another burden but I like the idea of awareness and larger recycling bins that way people wont plot their overflow recycling wont go in the trash.

I think if we start charging people there
may be an increase in illegal dumping.

I lived in Prescott for five years and we had to buy blue city garbage bags. They fit about three bags in them. Also, a town over, Brockville, they have garbage tags which you need on each garbage bag. I don't think it would make a drastic change, but it does make you want to recycle just that little bit more. I grew up with 10 people living in a three bedroom house and we recycled, so there really isn't any excuse not to.

Trash Bag should be limit to 3 black bag.
Because our Landfill are not going last longer if we don't set limit for trash bag.
Shame on you 67% or least 300 people vote favourable no limit for trash bag.
we need to protect our landfill for our next generation -- think of your CHILDREN!!!
Right now, my family in law in St Catharines has trash limit to 1 black bag.
I think 1 black bag is good... I hardly use second black bag.
I can fill up trash can (which is 1 black bag or 8 small shopping bag)
Please respect our environment and respect your children for future SAKE!!!
We need more recycle program, need green trash (for compost vegetable/fruit leftover)
It will help less need for trash bag... PLEASE RESPECT EARTH - Landfill!!!
We will have no left for landfill for more trash bag if no limit...
we can set limit to 1 trash bag (not 3 trash bag). It will double or triple landfill life.
Thank you for your sharing -
MAJORITY PEOPLE (67% OR LEAST 300 PEOPLE) - PLEASE RESPECT!!!

I grew up in the Niagara Region. We were allowed 3 bags, and more than that you would have to go to a conveinance store to purchase tags. No tags on the over limit bags they would not pick it up.

We recycled far more there! Needs to be here in Windsor as well.
