So the Catholic Church does not respect the rights of women? What do you expect when the man in charge in the Vatican took a oath to support his lord and master, Adolph Hitler, when he served in the Hitler Youth.

It is a pity that he had to strike a compromise at all. What is even worse is a bunch of old men thinking that they have the right to tell a woman what health choices she can and cannot make for her own body. Talk about a bunch of knuckle-dragging neanderthals. I read an article awhile back that said women don't need protection BY men, they need protection FROM men...and a bunch a men trying to regulate a woman's reproduction system is just another example of needing protection FROM men. It has been my experience in life that men have orgasms and women have babies. The playing field is so lopsided. Women get paid less, do the majority of the work and men take the credit. On the flip side, many men don't take the credit when it comes to taking financial responsibility for the orgasm that they had which resulted in getting a woman pregnant. When the powers to be pay women the same and make men financially responsible for their orgasms that create babies, then you can talk to me about reproductive choices for women...wait, I take that back, not even then!!!!!

Frankly, I wish he would not have changed to accommodate the bishops. They are so out of touch with the female parishioners that their views hold little value. It is the woman's choice and they have no right to dictate what a woman does with her body!
