The people posting critical/slanderous comments should be forced to put their names on a ballot in the next election. Voice those same comments and put forward their platform and see how they do? It would be a joke of course, and they would be the laughing stock of the city!!! I have seen Pat Fiacco's determination and pride lead Regina out of a "rut" and into the fast lane as Saskatchewan booms. I was elected as a councillor in Yorkton 12 years ago and can assure the sensible people of regina I have never seen a better spokesperson/salesperson/advocate for your cities needs in over a decade of working with him.

The only thing worse then Fiacco would be if Michael Fougere decided to run.....God help us.

GOOD

The civic pension plan disaster is one of his lasting legacies that will have Regina taxpayers suffering for generations. Sad that his family made all that money selling land to create Harbour Landing, again at the taxpayers expense. Those who voted for him should be ashamed. Those that re-elected him, should pay for his fiasco!!!

Long overdue announcement. Hopefully the Italian mob can hide all of those corrupt activities of his while he was mayor.

I might have voted for him in the past, but I wouldn't vote for him again. He has completely mishandled the design and contruction of the 12th Ave downtown project. In some ways, I think he should be made to stick it out as mayor until the project is fixed, rather than leaving the problem to someone else to fix.

You never gave an option of saying you are sorry to see him go
