    Not good enough.
    The Constitution is too outdated to accept as in the past; besides, whose Constitution? ours is not the only one in the world.

    First of all you just cant put something in the water supply. It's unconstitutional. I voted to give it to people with personality problems because that's what they already do. Like ridlin and that kind of stuff

    That is, both your comments will appear, or your's plus someone else's latest. It is tempting to do another comment before waiting- but be patient and your comment will eventually appear.

    "Sometimes the ethical thing to do is be an SOB"

    You've got something there, Alex.
    After reading the new piece on youth sex epidemic, perhaps saltpeter ought to be in the water supply; throw in paroxetine (Paxil) as well- it is the celibate's substance.
    Btw, Cygnus, if you submit a comment and it doesn't appear on-screen, wait until the next poster does a comment, and then yours will appear with the subsequent commenter's post at the same time.
    'Course, if no one posts after you, then you might have to post a different comment-- and then both the latest poster's comment and your unposted comment will appear;
    least ways, such has been my experience.

    Apologies for the duplicate post, it did not seem to accept the first attempt?

    Hmm.. more patience? without subjugation or drowsiness?

    And empathy? Can a pill even possibly achieve this?

    I still voted for availability by prescription, although there already are influential and negative affecting drugs used/imposed in psychotherapy.

    I take it everyone has seen the movie "Equilibrium"?

    While it would be tempting to put it in the water supply, there is the issue of consent. There are SOB's who enjoy being SOB's and would resent being made nicer. On the other hand courts could include the niceness pill as part of a sentence for convicted criminals.

    The other issue is that just being nicer won't necessarily make people more ethical. Sometimes the ethical thing to do is be an SOB.

    .. 'course, whether it is practical or not to mix such a compound in the water supply is unknown. But it would appear to be ethical to do so if it could be done. We are not mice, we can take calculated risks and often have to.

    I did vote to put it in the water supply, Hank; it may be our only hope- and to hell with what anarchists, minarchists think about it. We do what has to be done and that's that.

    I was tempted to put it in the water supply...
