I have no problem with the religion class taught in Quebec schools. However, a child shouldn't be forced to learn something against the wishes of his or her parents. Plenty of families in Canada homeschool and teach their children how they choose.

This question should be rephrased if it attempts to chime in on the issue before the supreme court in Quebec. That course is not a religion course per se but an ethics and religious culture course, a social science styled course not a religious course, like catechism.
