adding jr smit could provide more points for the knicks.the kind of play d antoni prefer,high scoring games.furthermore it makes the ballclub more popular, together with its present roster.

i don't think field and shumpert will cut playing time it's either they bench douglas or bibby or use this line-up put them on reserve list plus think shumpert will be on a sub Lin at PG. rather than use walker often they gonna use Smith more it's either he replace Melo or Fields. or even they can use this line-up if needed in the 4th. they gonna go small. Lin,Smith,Field,Melo,Amare or Lin,Smth,Melo,Amare,Chandler. now Knicks just add player that can help them if Melo and Amare are injured specially when it comes to playoff
I think if you are the New York Knicks, you take whatever options you can get. They obviously can't rely on any of their players 100%, so they have to bundle everything in, and use what is working/healthy for that game. I don't think they stand a chance in the playoffs with this being the case.

Jr should of went to the clippers point blank period his style of there more option for cp3

We could really use another big to take some pressure off chandler but if the chemistry works it cant hurt, better bringing smith off the bench then tony douglos. factor in that baron davis condition is unknown and that jr smith is happy to play in NBA after china and it could be a good move. i agree with jp though that the clippers could use him more

i feel knicks already have enough shooting guards already it basically cuts out shumpert and fields playing time which is not good especially the way they step their game up recently it would be best if he went on a team like the bulls or the clippers who need a scoring guard like bad move on Knicks y'all just made it from great to worst if you add smith I'm just keeping it real
