I am also hoping that Paula's dismissal was for publicity, just like Melanie's dismissal, and she will be back for Season 2. Do they REALLY think Janet or Mariah would be better, as well as better loved by both contestants and fans? Also, Mr. Lythgoe, the X Factor winner's career has not even been officially launched yet, so your argument holds no water. This season's Idol winner will also be ignored, just like the show itself.
