I just had to put my sweet cocker spaniel Maggie to rest a few days ago. I had her since she was 8 wks. old, and she was going on 15 years in a couple of months. She was the best kindest loyal dog and I loved her so much. My heart is breaking because I miss her terribly. This past year she lost so much weight that her ribs were showing. Suddenly she got very weak and couldn't walk. I took her to the vets and was told all her muscles were gone. It was a painful decision to make but I knew she could not be happy when she couldn't use her legs. I loved my Maggie with all my heart...
