Has The National Enquirer Gone Too Far Posting The Whitney Houston Death Photo?

To Jeannie, I think the difference between John and Whitney was a sign of the times, in the 80's we did not have cell phones/cameras and all the techy stuff of today. I still think it was in very poor taste to show her pic this way. If we did not look, buy, support, these rags might go away and not a moment too soon.

Drugs kill, I don't know why that is such a shocker to many. All the money in the world will not save you if you choose to abuse your body. As a Mom, I think it was very selfish of her, Kristina is without a Mom and role model, such as it was. Wishing Kristina a healthy, stable life.

If you do not want to see it, don't. We all have free will to see or not see. The more people talk about it, the more power the Enquirer is given. I'm just saying ...

OK, in my opinion, JOHN LENNON is a much bigger celebrity than Whitney Houston. However, there was no hoopla made when the National Enquireer posted the last photo of JOHN LENNON on their cover. The photo from 1980 was apparently taken in the hospital after he was pronounced dead. As odd as I believed this cover was in 1980, I still have the cover from this periodical saved in a plastic wrapper today. Why such a big ado now about Whitney when not a peep was said about John?

As weird and disgusting as most of the crap they put in their rag... I guess I'm not surprised at all that the Enquirer published it.... BUT what freaks me out is all the people who seem to love the steady diet of the Enquirer's bizarre and sensationalized stories. I admit I checked it out a couple of times but OMG..... steady readers of it may need to seek mental help. I say this with true compassion for the avid subscribers. Have any of you considered reading perhaps a classic piece of literature or anything else that might sharpen your mind? Heck, the text of a children's coloring book would be healthy for your minds.

Bobby Brown said "Let them show it" is it okay to show his picture when he's in his casket? Let's face it, we all have to cross this same path some day. So is it ok to post such pictures on the tabloid. How about the fact that a mother is suffering the loss of her daughter and a young girl just loss her mother. What has happen to people caring for others? Would we want our mother's pictures posted all over the world in such an intimate setting? I say shut the enquirer down by refusing to buy their paper. They can't make the money if the paper stays on the shelf. I pray we all have a heart!!!!

This is very personal. She has already shared her whole life with the public. At some point things become sacred. I mean really, we don't even put pictures of the person in the casket on the obiturary when family member of our own. It is always a pleasant picture of the deceased. This is not normal and the public knows it.
