Which is the best statement about your position on what a "thought" is?
A thought consists of internal relations to external things (representations) and relations between representations, and I am consciously aware of it (i.e. I can describe all my thoughts)
A thought consists of representations and relations between them, but at least sometimes I am not consciously aware of it (I can have thoughts I don't "know about")
A thought is a mapping between input (sensor) and output (motor) states that is not meaningful (in and of itself)
I don't know what a thought is, but it's definitely something I'm consciously aware of
I would agree with more that one of the above at different times or if referring to different types of thoughts
Thoughts don't exist, even as an abstract philosophical notion (not a useful one anyway)
The above definitions are rubbish (I don't agree with any, *at all*) - my better definition is in the comments
