I Love real books but I now have nerve damage in my arms and hands.
I have a real hard time holding real books. With the Kindle I can read longer and do not drop it as often. Of cource, that could be because I rest the kindle somewhere instead of holding it.

I like e-books more. I have a public library within walking distance, but can't bring myself to read the physical books there - they are too dusty or too heavy or both (and sometimes rather dirty looking). I do use the ebooks from the public library, though.

I'm happy to with the library ebook collections local to me, but I also pay for a great out of state library card which has tonnes of great ebooks. The nominal cost per year is totally worth it.

The rest of my reading takes place on random blogs and websites. Sometimes I read these blogs and websites on my iPhone, sometimes on my e-ink ereader (it has a great touch browser), and sometimes on my 10" tablet.

I love to be able to carry my extremely lightweight e-ink ereader with me everywhere, when I have the need for the printed-on-paper experience (and the ebook in question doesn't focus on color photos). I carry my ereader in a lightweight case that has an inbuilt stand. When I lie down in bed, and prop up the case on my chest, it is sheer heaven. I couldn't do this with a book from the library.

I love bound books--their feel and smell and the way they look on a shelf--but after packing up all my zillions of books to move last year, I swore off them and now only buy ebooks. As others have said, they're much more versatile to boot. But if you ask me which I LIKE more, I'd still have to say bound books. So--there you go. I prefer bound books, but buy only ebooks. Maybe you need a survey that asks how many bound books vs. ebooks people have bought in the last month.

Ebooks all the way! I am an avid reader and have nowhere to store all of these books, especially since I read a lot of genre fiction. My Kindle is my one addiction.

I like both ebooks and "real" books. However, since I travel a great deal, I've been finding ebooks to be far more convenient to me. I also like how I can choose the size of the print in my ereader. I still buy bound books, but for the past year, I've been buying more ebooks for consumption.
