I have respect for One Direction as a band but The Wanted are my idols:) I liked One Direction until them and their fans started dissing on The Wanted!! I don't believe in the feud and think whatever is happening should end but The Wanted tried to stop it and One Direction kept the fire going!! Plus The Wanted deserve this a lot more and people know that because they're winning!! One Direction were put together through a SHOW and it was because they had potential, The Wanted were put together because they were the BEST and had a true talent!!! They care soo much for their fans and have maybe not the biggest but definitely the best fanbase in the world!! Their fans aren't just fans they're fanmily and I consider them and every person in TWfanmily my family, that's how close we are:)

Nathan ---> Please, he won several competitions of singing, he met Britney Spears when he was only 8, He can play the keyboard, piano and the bigpipes he start to act and sing at 6.
Max ---> ex-football player with an awesome tone of voice, is very talented and he can go to the high notes like no one else. BTW, he can play the bass.
Tom ---> This boy, his voice is rough and also he can go to the high note as well, he plays the guitar since he was 16.

I've been a fan of 1D b4/longer than TW and they're both amazing bands that sing completely different styles of music. In all honesty though, TW deserve where they are now and much more because they have worked their asses off from the start. I'm not saying 1D hasn't but it was a bit easier for them to get started in their careers. People might think TW are rude, cocky, self-centered and what not but in reality they're just being true to themselves, their fans, and publicity. They're genuine and don't care what others think of them and I love/respect them loads for that. 1D are like that as well but honestly they seem more...I dont wanna say fake cause I love them also and that wouldn't be true, but they seem to not be as true as TW. You can bash me all you want and not call me a fan because of this but I really wont give a shit. I love both bands and think this whole rivalry is childish, pointless, and unrespectful to both bands. This isn't the 90's anymore so please just stop comparing both bands like they're some kind of brand. Also if there is some kind of rivalry between both bands why get in it? I mean seriously that's their business and situation. Should that really affect what we think of the other? You might not have the other band in the first place but don't hate on them. FOR THE PEOPLE SAYING ONE DIRECION DIDN'T WORK HARD: one direction started of from 5 normal boys they had to struggle to get to x factor and then get 3rd place simon cowell helped because he knew and said they were to good to let go and this is coming from simon cowell US knows him as a mean judge and then One Direction had to wait and pray that top radios like their songs then they had to become noticeable in the society which us directioners helped them with.it was hard for them One mistake could cost them there whole career Now look everywhere in the world you go there are million and millions of fans one direction made history no other boy band could .sometimes they wanted to give up but they didn't. The Wanted we're put together because they were the strongest, do you know how many people auditioned for places in the band? They went through auditions, not a TV show, which is fixed anyway. Those 5 boys, known pretty much worldwide? there lives aren't perfect, Siva's dad had a heart attack in front of him, he was 7. Jay was called fat, his whole childhood. Max dreamt of being a footballer, one injury cost him that. Nathan was bullied for wanting to sing, for following his dream. Tom, he was bullied like MAD. his GCSE papers where thrown around, he left school and didn't know what to do with his life. Yeah, these boys DESERVE to be where they are, they're my idols for not giving up, for everything. Did you know that their song 'I'll Be Your Strength' was written for fans, because they know we go through a lot, and it hurts them that they can't be there for each and everyone of us. One Direction ignored fans outside a hotel. I'm sorry but erm, The Wanted deserve to be where they are, I'm not insulting One Direction, i think they could do a bit more for there fans though?

The wanted have worked a whole lot harder than One direction, who simply got handed their fame on a silver plate by Simon Cowell. Their fans are crazy, and obsessed. Yes, they can sing, won't deny it, but the wanted write far more of their own music. One direction are being forced into this boyband they clearly don't want to be, fame has got to them. The wanted care dearly for their fans. They also play their own music, each individual, unlike one direction. They still write to their fans, and don't have their tweets censored by management. Therefore the wanted are a better boy band.

I've been a fan of 1D b4/longer than TW and they're both amazing bands that sing completely different styles of music. In all honesty though, TW deserve where they are now and much more because they have worked their asses off from the start. I'm not saying 1D hasn't but it was a bit easier for them to get started in their careers. People might think TW are rude, cocky, self-centered and what not but in reality they're just being true to themselves, their fans, and publicity. They're genuine and don't care what others think of them and I love/respect them loads for that. 1D are like that as well but honestly they seem more...I dont wanna say fake cause I love them also and that wouldn't be true, but they seem to not be as true as TW. You can bash me all you want and not call me a fan because of this but I really wont give a shit. I love both bands and think this whole rivalry is childish, pointless, and unrespectful to both bands. This isn't the 90's anymore so please just stop comparing both bands like they're some kind of brand. Also if there is some kind of rivalry between both bands why get in it? I mean seriously that's their business and situation. Should that really affect what we think of the other? You might not have the other band in the first place but don't hate on them. The Wanted we're put together because they were the strongest, do you know how many people auditioned for places in the band? They went through auditions, not a TV show, which is fixed anyway. Those 5 boys, known pretty much worldwide? there lives aren't perfect, Siva's dad had a heart attack in front of him, he was 7. Jay was called fat, his whole childhood. Max dreamt of being a footballer, one injury cost him that. Nathan was bullied for wanting to sing, for following his dream. Tom, he was bullied like MAD. his GCSE papers where thrown around, he left school and didn't know what to do with his life. Yeah, these boys DESERVE to be where they are, they're my idols for not giving up, for everything. Did you know that their song 'I'll Be Your Strength' was written for fans, because they know we go through a lot, and it hurts them that they can't be there for each and everyone of us. One Direction ignored fans outside a hotel. I'm sorry but erm, The Wanted deserve to be where they are, I'm not insulting One Direction, i think they could do a bit more for there fans though?
Fact: one direction were put together because they were the weakest, the wanted were put together for being the strongest.
The wanted have worked a whole lot harder than One direction, who simply got handed their fame on a silver plate by Simon Cowell. Their fans are crazy, and obsessed. Yes, they can sing, won't deny it, but the wanted write far more of their own music. One direction are being forced into this boyband they clearly don't want to be, fame has got to them. The wanted care dearly for their fans. They also play their own music, each individual, unlike one direction. They still write to their fans, and don't have their tweets censored by management. Therefore the wanted are a better boy band.
