Does your church or religion support you and your child with mental health needs?

My son attends a church with his grandmother occasionally. They have reached out to him so much since my mother has told "his story". Not having his father anymore, men from the church have reached out to him to do boy things, like fishing, camping, etc. These men have boys close to my son's age. I appreciate these men spending their quality father son time with my son who no longer has his father. He also attends another church on Friday nights for a youth group. They have also reached out to him in a major way. The youth pastor calls him and invites him to events and retreats they go on as a group. My daughter also goes to the youth group and is involved in the youth music ministry. She is one of their lead singers. They treat both children equal but with care.
