Travel is a passion but it wouldnt be the same if I were to just switch off and relax... I could effectively be anywhere in the world!
For me, it is really important to spend a couple days switching off, getting accustomed and planning my itinery before I focus on maximising my time absorbing cultural, sightseeing, food and local knowledge to feel that I have really gotten to know a place. I then finish off with a day of relaxing and perhaps shopping in case there is anything that I missed before departing :-)
