Since my husband is a Duke graduate, I have always been a rabid Duke fan. This wasn't their year, however, and we could feel the end approaching (although it did happen sooner than anticipated!). I have known one Lehigh graduate in my life, and he sits directly in front of me in church. Since Duke has been HIS favorite southern team, I will congratulate him warmly while we are "passing the peace" and hope that his school does well in the future.

Every year Coach K has a roster stacked with high school all-Americans; the cream of the crop. He and Duke should NEVER lose as every team they play is at a disadvantage. Last night made my day!

I GREW UP IN CLINTON, NORTH CAROLINA AND I AM A LIFE LONG TAR HEEL FAN. I REMEMBER ONLY 3 DUKE FANS IN SCHOOL DURING MY YOUTH. MOST DUKE FANS IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA OVER THE AGE OF 35 GREW UP AS N.C. STATE FANS. MANY N.C. STATE FANS JUMPED SHIPPED AFTER THE N.C.STATE SCANDAL UNDER THE VALVANO WATCH. THIS IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY A.B. C. FANS ( ANYBODY BUT CAROLINA) THE DUKE VS CAROLINA RIVALRY WAS ONCE CALLED THE NCSU VS CAROLINA RIVALRY.
