I think he should at least get 30 years in prison, he caused the death of a young student.

Of course what Ravi did was a crime. He invaded Clementi's privacy by viewing him without his permission. Even if no bias crime charges were involved, what Ravi did was criminal. It was also immoral and highly judgmental, and I don't think Ravi understands that at all. For a bright kid he is apparently clueless when it comes to interpersonal relationships.
