    They should not be arrested and held. I don't see that to be pulled over, evaluated to see if there is reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed, and charged with a crime (written a citation) does not, I think violate the constitutional principle under discussion here. If the officer determines that they are drunk, then the legistlator my demand to be transported to his domicle (hotel) or to the legislative assembly (if he gets drunk at lunch), rather than jail as he deserves. But the above doesn't interfere with the legislative functions that are protected here.
    Nothing prevents them from having to answer to the charges after the legislative session is adjurned.
