Should the Sunshine List, which began in 1996 and discloses public employee salaries of $100,000, be tweaked to reflect inflation?

I beleive that peoples' incomes are their private information, no one has any right to know anothers income. I beleive it provides no value to others to know what other's incomes are, this information only creates discontent and envy. I have no idea what others have to do or sacrifice to do their jobs or what value they bring to the employer in doing their jobs, until we walk in other shoes we have no idea what another person does or what value their work is worth to their employer. I beleive in personal privacy of information, not only salary but all personal information, employment is a contract between the individual and the employer and one one else. (except Revenue Canada) We live in a free society not a communist society.

Why not have a private sector sunshine list as well? I am extremely interested in the compensation of the CEOs and business executives that my hard-earned money goes to support.
