I tell my children all the time about how tattoos are forever and that I was young when I got mine. I tell them that it hurts like getting shots and the pain will go away but the tattoo won't. You can wash it a hundred times and it will still stay. My children may be young but I feel that telling them these things now will stick in their mind when the situation presents itself!
