Compliance Officers: Necessary or a Luxury
Size matters, and we're just not large enough for a Compliance Officer line-item on our personnel budget.
Lawsuits matter, and we find having a compliance officer on staff to be incredibly useful in making sure we're on the right side of statutes and laws.
