While a PR stunt is very much in line with the decline of BioWare I'm quite certain they still have good and talented people working there and this decision may well have come from the right place.
At least they didn't lock all the cupcakes up for a few "artists" to eat while the rest of the team sat outside wondering how they were going to screw this up too.
