When booking travel 14 days in advance, can you usually find available seats on flights that work with your schedule?

I can usually find available seats on satisfactory flights.

I usually have to compromise on either class of service or flight times, or I have to select a connecting flight instead of a non-stop in order to find available seats on flights.
