Deep fried dogs are famous at Rutt's Hut in Clifton, N.J.
They all "rip" open in the fryer and are
named according to the length of time they stay in the oil.
The one that stays in the longest is called "the cremator,"
nice and crusty.

Ever had a ripper before? They're called that because in deep frying they rip apart. Great with kraut & mustard!
