At least the people that stand on street corners are mostly trying to get a room so that they dont have to camp. Yeah most are looking for a beer but not all.

One last thing, The US has the highest homeless rate since the great Depression because of the foreclosure crisis caused by the financial sector as well as the high unemployment rate. Don't bother to solve the homeless problem, just hide it. People don't want to notice it. Isn't that right?.

The unemplyment rate is 8.3%. The whole point of the Occupy movement is that bankers and oil companies had trashed our economy. (Did you know Wall Street Speculators have caused the price of Gasoline to go up at least 56 cents a gallon according to Goldman Sachs.) The lazy protester is a false stereotype. Here's some evidence, "Injured vet spent days at work, nights at protest" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45071048/ns/us_news/#.T3uQldnwAqg

Stop repeating the drivel you hear and start thinking. Find other news sources.

There is a difference between being homeless, and claiming sidewalks and parks as a permanent settlement. They are causing a public problem and need to keep moving to avoid the arrest. Don't be so noticeable.
