I am this young mans aunt and on the surface it may appear that he is cold and heartless but in truth he is from that. He was a confused and very angry kid at the time this happened. He has since served his time and did very well with the boot camp program they have in wyoming. He also received the the much needed counseling that he needed so badly. His family support him and love him for the young man he is becoming. Please try not to judge without knowing the whole story. God guides us to forgive and appreciate the blessings that he gives us. Colton is rebuilding his life and has made some positive changes in the choices he is making for his future :) god bless and please pray for those who new the grace of god in their lives :)

reading this poaching article disturbs me in our sweet usa we have do goods who believe that.
everything ends at the dont punish poor john doe for his crimes or the boy needs forgiveness
after all he only destroyed a few wild deer thank god we have wild life laws that deal with the
poaching he deserves what he gets and that is not enough and his parents are not to blame so
at 19 years old it seems that he does what he wants i am sure his parents dont agree with him

Putting this young man behind bars is not the answer.Like most people you would put him away, out of site, out of mind, instead teach him the right way of life and laws and how his actions affect not only himself but others as well. This should have been tought to him as a child,at soom place we have to stop and ask ourselves where did we fail this boy? Jail will make him hard and mean and will not teach him right from wrong ,but one thing for sure it will teach him "THE WRONG".If you have to deal harshly with anyone, have the authorities deal with the real problems in this boys life,"his mom and dad".

He should be given punishment under the full extent of the law & psychiatric help! What or WHO could be next?!

I think poachers and trespassers should be dealt with much more harshly, I believe the authorities are way too lenient on these violators.
