yet again we have been let down again, another very exciting mind boggling program axed, what is the point of setting your self up to watch new programs just to find out they have been put in the rubbish bin after the first season. I am a dedicated fan that has been part of a fan club in our local area, we descend on a friends house to watch this every Tuesday for the past 13 weeks. Its the best show I have seen in years nothing could compare to it, Alcatraz has become a social event in the area I live, topic of everyday conversation, who, what, where, why. JJ Abraham cant you find producers in the UK that is willing to keep same actors etc, that will carry on the show, or produce other seasons episodes by DVD, for us English fans.

I am a viewer in England and have just watched the series finale been dedicated for the past 13 weeks and love it.We have a Alcatraz fan club in England.Every Tuesday night there is 5 of us sat on the edge of our seats and we discuss every episode trying to work our therioes.Fox can not leave us in suspence .We need a second series.Do not drop the show.We need closure.

Im from the uk and have just watched the season finale of alcatraz. I think its absolutely brilliant and cant believe they are thinking of not making a 2nd season.
Rebeca is great and it would be a real shame to kill her off totally. At least give her a chance to get her own back on her grand-father.
Come on guys at least make a season 2 so we find out why they were sent from alcatraz. A truly great show, don't write it off.

I really hope they don't cancel Alcatraz! It's the most clever show I've seen in a long time! I also can't believe it has poor ratings! I know many people that love this show!

omg alcatraz is awsome how can fox consider dropping alcatraz its the best u have to leave it at where rebeca dies at least bring it back for one season if fox doesnt bring back alctraz its gonna lose some viewers i dont think just a little i mean a lot! everyone i know loves alcatraz. they are really angry that they cancelled alcatraz and mad at fox they hate fox the only show i watch on fox is fringe i perfer alcatraz over fringe anyday they were just getting to the point of the show dimwits

How can FOX even consider dropping Alcatraz without finishing the story? That would be very frustrating to the viewers. The same is true for Fringe and Touch. You have to at least give viewers some closure if you want to drop shows. Otherwise, we won't ever start watching new shows again, because we don't want to be left hanging.
