I so remember that phase - and the fact that I couldn't even get into my husband's bermuda shorts, and he (normally) is MUCH bigger than I. Still makes me miserable, and the kid is 40!

Ok, now that that's out of the way. I think your knitting accomplishment reward should be a membership in a yarn club. That way, yarn will continue to come to you after you have had the baby and are too tired to go out and get some.
That... or an ipad. (mostly just because I would like an ipad)
