Now I know I'm the cavs fan and were not to lucky without Kyrie but although, Lamar should get another chance but not on the cavs

Lakers fan here- I've always had a soft spot for Lamar Odom - Everyone says he's a multimillionaire and needs to deal with the situations he's faced with - Money doesn't matter in this case- Lamar is a person, a vunerable one at that- He was truly hurt when the Lakers had him on the block but that's not the fault of the Lakers - Basketball is a business and these things happen - Lamar should have calmed down, talked to Kobe and others who would've reassured him of his worth (that's why he's trade bait!) and come back to us - He's the one who demanded to leave (after Stern _+^$%%#^ us over!)-

We must first remember that Lamar did ask to be traded??? Perhaps it was a bad thing to do for him, however we all know he is a great basketball player, perhaps he can come back to Lakers and just admit he made a mistake by asking to be traded, perhaps the Clippers, but we all know he really loves the Lakers, lets hope for him coming back to Lakers.

Odom will be back in la next yr him and da laker organization made a big mistake with all da trades la did these couple of months if we still had odom we would of made a big impact in the west honestly im a die hard laker fan but it will be hard for us to make it to the finals this year. Yes i would give him a chance keep hating haterz thts all your good for.Odom will be wating for u where u truly belong in la c you next year in are roster.

Lamar should never have been traded. He was just getting his act together, when management
made a hasty decision. There were members on that team that needed to go before him, and now Fisher! WAKE UP FRONT OFFICE! Yes Lamar deserves another chance.

i feel he should be picked up & to still plsy in the NBA but he needs to step it up and focus on the game if he wants a basketball career anymore. he can do it if he stays focus.

  • Dawn - 12 years ago

I think he still deserves to play his game, with the Lakers, or whom ever picks him up. Give him a chance! I think the Lakers NEED to take him back...he's a "Laker", and always will be. No matter where he goes.

  • Alan Harris - 12 years ago

Why don't the lakers pick him up? They got the draft pick, and the exemption... I can't believe they didn't try and trade Meta for him when he started going bad in Dallas!

  • Rick - 12 years ago

Jessie, I'm a die hard Rockets fan...Please do not use Fishr as an example. Look what he did to us! He is a loser just like lamar odom!

Everybody has issues in this world but you still have a job to do.

  • Jesse amador - 12 years ago

I agree with larry and boris. He is not a team player. It was a mistake for mark to get him and he wasnt worth getting. He is like a big baby that needs his mommy. Look the mavericks are not some weak team, lamar just didnt appreciate the talent. I need kobey whatever. Look at fisher he was traded and still playing like a champ. Take some lessons from him odom he is true basketball player. Mark should've gotting him instead. Fare well odom and stay away from nba. I would never give odom another chance. He should be suspended for the next year. Any player does what odom did should be suspended and not get paid.

  • G504 - 12 years ago

Lamar always was a great player and very dominated for a 6"10 forward, I feel you should judge a person on the job they get paid 2 do not his off time. I only care about his performance on court not his personal life. Think about this, how many athletes you know are angles on and off the courts, it's a job people, like some of y'all can't wait 2 get off now so you open a cool 1 or go have some fun with that chick you met this past weekend with out the wifey knowledge.

  • spectator - 12 years ago

I would only consider if he leaves any/all reality shows....and would be twice as interested when he leaves his wife. Playing pro ball and being with her are mutually exclusive.

  • james - 12 years ago

ODOM IS A VERY GOOD AND THE LAKERS SHOULD TRY TO GET HIM BACK. IT WAS A MISTAKE TO TRADE HIM

  • jh - 12 years ago

i would hire him with conditions. meaning dough = no show. once he quits that show
and the lavish vacations he will get his game back

  • Boris - 12 years ago

He is very unprofessional, all the team know how he play in court specially in lakers team and suddenly he just playing stupid in dallas like he is last player in the nba draft.Even fans and analys know what he do, contribute to the team..poor maverich not deserve it to get this kind of player..

  • Larry Simmons - 12 years ago

He was upset he wasn't a Laker. He pouted. He gave up. I wouldn't give him a second look.

  • Samantha Morris - 12 years ago

Someone has a rough season and is counted out! Not in my book you try and go through a trade have it fall through, then be off half a season and get thrown in a team you don't know! I say way to go Odom!
