1) Why did Carkner go after Boyle. Poor Joe has Alzheimer's - he doesn't remember game 1 where the NY bought and paid for referres gave Boyle two minutes for (come on Joe, lets count them, come on - one, two, three...keep counting Joe you can do it) - so of course, Boyle gets 2 mins for roughing, but the refs who want NYR to win, give Karlsson's helmet two minutes for hurting Boyle's hand; since Karlsson owns his helmet and a player must be in control of their helmet at all times - Karlsson's goes too; so the doofus goes and takes Karlsson, the best defencement in the league with him.
2) "It had nothing to do with the play" - which play Joe? Play in the last minute? 3 minutes? Previous game? How convenient that you alone decide how far back "the play goes"
