i lived in stuggart germany for a year. the culture was wonderful. the city fabulous. lots of castles near by, beautiful flower gardens by the acres, loads of history, many fantastic shopping areas, plenty of eateries. there is so much there. people are fabulous, and i loved getting to know how germans worked and played
I lived for 5 years in Mexico. I loved it. There are a lot of quaint, quiet little towns and pueblos tucked up in the mountains that are amazing and full of culture, history, awesome people and plenty of inspiration for writers. I however, lived in one of the largest cities in the country and that was great too. I spent two summers in South Africa and also loved it. I do not go for big tourist attraction types of places but love the off the beaten path, local places! I think you should totally go live abroad for a year!
