YES to jobs, art and culture opportunities, ongoing work opportunities, training support for young artists, public space for all sorts of cultural events!! NO to another Gladstone type environmental disaster with dredging the inlet!! No cruise ships any bigger than those already coming in, can actually fit!!! It's just not that big an inlet folks!!

Do yourself a favour and find out the facts about the suitability of the location. I was fortunate to hear the Mayor speak about the rationale for the siting of the CEP. It really is a no-brainer Don't believe Can't Do Newman and Gavin King and their mischievous misinformation on the issue.

Entertainment Centres in Australia.. Opera House /Sydney on the water, Southbank/Brisbane onthe water, Federation Square / Melbourne on the water, derwent entertainment centre etc and and are they tourist magnets ....YES!
Dredging the channel will bring tourist into town for one day , they go on tours, eat back on board the vessel .. dont spend much in town.
