We had severe damage to our fifth wheel two summers ago in Illinois. A big storm blew up quickly with straight line winds. Although it was not officially called a tornado, it took down several trees, including one close to our site. The rear left corner of the rig was crushed at the top, and it actually bent the front legs a bit. Luckily, we had not had the rig that long and were still under warranty, so between that and some insurance we were able to pay for the repairs. That year (2010) we had several close calls, both with our fifth wheel and other vehicles. I was glad to see the year end!
