Thanks for your comment, Joan. And you're right--authors do have other ways to get their point across. We're supposed to be creative, we should be able to create tension without foul language!

I agree with your Mother...I don't think mild cussin' has a place in books; especially religious books. I think authors can get their point across in other ways. I know I am old fashioned but let's return some civility.
