Does your shop copy statistics from production into test (rather than run RUNSTATS in test)?

    I mainly avoid copying production runstats into test, because I usually want to have real runstats in test for the data that is in there when I'm doing my job. If you want to do a real production parallel test, you need a production parallel database and environment.

    Yes, that's a lot of hardware, but is there really another alternative that works 100% of the time?
