How do you feel about Safeway product prices?

    Just returned from another HOUR OF HELL in Pac N Sav in So. San Francisco/Daly City!! I hate that store so help me God!! I bought because the whole back wall was papered with signs, buy 2 (mix & match) get third one free!!! Check out tells me to get one free I HAVE TO BUY FIVE~~~~I also bought a large bottle of Listerine on the bottom shelf marked $4.99....I looked to make sure the same size bottle was behind the one I picked up because I have been in this market before!!!!!! There were at least 4 bottles behind the one I picked up over the sign that read Listerine $4.99....my bill shows I paid $6.99 for my Listerine...and NO - AFTER BEING TOLD I NEEDED TO BUY 5 IN ORDER TO GET ONE FREE I DID NOT QUESTION THE LISTERINE!!! AND THE LETTERS ARE IN CAPS BECAUSE IF YOU WERE IN FRONT ON MY FACE I WOULD BE SPEAKING IN A LOUD VOICE.....I HATE HAVING TO BAG MY OWN GROCERIES AND PAYING 10 CENTS A BAG WHICH I DID NOT DO....THAT STORE HAS SEEN THE LAST OF MY BUSINESS....SUCK IT UP~~~

    Just returned from Safeway, #1520, 14505 W.Grand Ave.Surprise, Az.85374-(623)975-4022 4/15/13.Cashier, Cyndi, rang up OPN NAT WH CHICKEN for $7.99, rang up CHKN BACON SNDWCH $5.49. PRICE TAGS WERE $5.99 FOR CHKN AND $5.00 FOR CHKN SNDWCH IN THE AD (WITH SAFEWAY STORE CARD). WHEN I OBJECTED TO THE PRICE, CYNDI GAVE ME A COLD STARE, SHOOK HER HEAD AND SAID THAT WAS THE PRICE BECAUSE IT WAS A OPN.NAT.WHITE CHICKEN. WHEN I TURNED TO GO GET THE PRICE CARD, HER BODY LANGUAGE SPOKE FOR HER, SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT THE CUSTOMER WAITING BEHIND ME. WHEN I RETURNED WITH THE $5.99 PRICE, SHE PAUSED, SCOWLED AND SLOWLY PROCEEDED TO CHANGE THE AMT. NEXT, WHEN I MENTIONED SHE HAD OVER CHARGED ME THE CHKN SNDWCH, (I HAD STORE CARD AND PAPER AD AND HAD GIVEN IT TO HER TO BEGIN WITH), SHE PAUSED, SIGHED LOUDLY, (NOW THE MGR. CAME BY AND SHE WHISPERED TO HIM "CAN I GO HOME", SHE SLOWLY CHANGED THE PRICES TO CORRECT THEM. I TALKED TO THE MGR. AFTER I PAID AND TOLD HIM IT WASN'T CYNDI'S FAULT THE COMPUTER PRICES DID NOT MATCH THE PRICES IN THE ADS BUT YOU WOULD EXPECT THE CUSTOMER NOT TO HAVE TO FEEL 'ASHAMED' FOR CHECKING AND CORRECTING THE ERRORS. I FELT AS THOUGH I SHOULDN'T BOTHER SPEAKING UP, IT WOULD CAUSE TOO MUCH WORK TO CORRECT THE SITUATION. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT CYNDI'S FINANCIAL STATUS, BUT I KNOW I SHOP VERY CAREFULLY AND EVERY PENNY COUNTS. IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT, SAFEWAY HAS A POLICY OF NOT CHARGING THE CUSTOMER FOR THE ITEMS THAT ARE IN ERROR ON THE COMPUTER WHEN COMPARED TO THE AD.

    I just returned from Vons.
    I could not finish my shopping because the ladies room was out of order. I know they have one for employies
    this was not open for coustmers. I have lived three blocks from your store for forty years, what has happened.
    This was not any service to your shoppers.
