What do you think about the long-running dispute between Rob Ford and The Toronto Star.

Though I am not a fan of the major... I am on his side with this issue. Privacy of a public figure has become non-existent. Why is a reporter lurking about in the evening outside the mayor's home? What kind of photo was he planning to take... the land the mayor wants to purchase with a camera phone and in the evening????? get real!!! I doubt it... no this reporter I think had another agenda to take pictures of someone's private home and with a listening device... mmmm was he planning to record the birds as they prepared to go to sleep???? And if, as he alleges, he was standing on the cinder blocks off the property... again, where was his camera phone pointing... the land to be purchased in question... did he want a better picture of the trees in the evening??? Again, I doubt it... I think he was trying to look over the fence pointing to the house... why????????? Enough said... this reporter should be reprimanded... how would he like it done to him?

Rob Ford has the absolute right to defend himself and his property against unreasonable attacks launched by people who feel that they have the right to say anything, and go anywhere no matter
whose rights are trampled. The Toronto Star has no legitimate business in Rob Ford's back yard.
Rob Ford is a conservative person, and the Toronto Star hates conservative people. End of story.

If a prowler was lurking around my yard I would react the same way, by confronting him and demanding to know what he was doing there. His story doesn't match the circumstances. He was digging for dirt and found crap instead.

The industrial socialist red star deserves this embarrassment, it is long overdue. People deserve to know the difference between who is reporting the news and who is creating it.

I would have to question the competence of the news agency, that sends a reporter out to take long distance pictures of a property 200 yards away, with no camera crew, even worse with no camera.

Do all of their published photos come from camera phones?

Not a one I would guess.

Now we have to wonder what audio he was recording other than his own voice?
