I must admit, I was utterly disappointed at the Newsweek cover. I expect such word play with tabloids, not Newsweek. In the past, I have identified Newsweek as a reputable news source. As for the three year old breastfeeding, that is neither pornographic nor beyond the boundaries of normalcy. I believe the outcry about child abuse would have been less severe had the three year old breastfed child not been of the opposite gender. I argue that it does bear to reason that nursing mothers of children older than two years old usually do not publicize as the cover of Time has portrayed. Please good mothers continue to nurture and raise your children. I honestly believe that each cover was an attempt to increase sales. I, however, must admit that the Newsweek cover was beyond belief. Go Newsweek, you get my vote for pushing the envelope as I was anxious to read the article!!

I am angry that Newsweek magazine would send me a publication with the tag line The First Gay President when there is no evidence that Barack Obama is either gay or planning to become gay in the near future. Newsweek went way to far with this one. I voted against the NC constitutional amendment that limited marriage to heterosexual couples but that does not make me gay. It is one more example of lack of respect for the President when he is the man that is trying to lead our country out of the desert! Shame on you Newsweek!!!!!!!!!!!

This makes me so sad and so disgusted .WE live in America people, not some 3rd world country that doesn't have good nutrition at it's fingertips. It is not even close to being necessary for a 3yr old . This poor kid was abused by his own mother and for what? Money? Fame? Your own agenda? Shame on you Time magazine.... Someone should hold you accountable and someone should call Child Protective Services on this so called "good " mother. This is pornographic and should not be out in public where my 10 year old son can see a boy with a boob in his mouth.... I am going to go throw up now.

What in the world is wrong with a three-year-old boy breast feeding? My wife's cousin used to do the same with her kids when they were two and until the next one came along. Then she had to buy a cow!
Whoever is responsible for the NEWSWEEK cover ought to be taken out and tarred and feathered...though I can't help feeling that this is a belated April's Fool joke, an insolent unacceptable joke.
Does Freedom of the Press mean freedom to throw garbage around? Fortunately, I'm deaf and blind and live six thousand miles away from Garbagelandia.
