I have to believe Pete. And I hope all the football "experts" choke on their "expertise." I can't say whether Wilson will make it but with a "never was" and a "hope he can" being the lead challengers to start why not keep an open mind. Anyone who can convince a veteran team (Wisconsin) in the just a few days of practice that he deserves to be team captain has got to have some special qualities. And his performance during the year showed both his physical and leadership capabilities. So let's not write him off quite yet. And don't forget--the "experts" are the same guys who had Ryan Leaf rated as the number two quarterback out of college and we all saw how correct they were.
