Do you see any police cats around? No. A cat's insouciance would preclude the use of guns. Guns are completely uninteresting and vulgar.

I reckon cats are less excitable! (But I prefer dogs.) Btw, it's 'poll' not 'pole'.

I like cats, but i reckon a cat would shoot you soon as look at you, whereas a dog is more likely to wait for a command to shoot.

moody and emotionally distant -
I went with the dog

I like cats and dogs equally, but a dog is loyal to its friends and gets over excited about things where as cats regard people pretty much equally and have learnt to try to clean after themselves demonstrating some responsibility.
So I imagine dogs getting trigger happy for the fun of it and letting off rounds into any human they perceive as a threat to their friends/humans. Where as I think cats are more circumspect about things and less tribal, which when it comes to guns is better for the whole of the human race. Although my do with a gun might be good for me, it would not be good for people my dog saw as enemies. Really its the same reasons humans shouldn't have guns!

I think this is more a question of do you prefer dogs or cats. I don 't trust cats and they wouldn't be as easy to control, hence I went for dog. If on the other hand I liked cats, I would have chosen cat. But they are shifty.

To be honest, I'd trust neither.
A cat would use it on you the moment its dinner was five seconds late.
A dog would forget where it put it, and/or be more likely to accidentally shoot you while bounding up and down with the safety off.
i would trust in a cat! the dog have a gun!
Dogs won't murder you in your sleep.
