I selected other because I feel that our academic focus should align with what our school wants to be the best at in the world. Therefore, if writing is our focus, I feel that Salt Creek should be the best in the world at producing excellent writers. Specifically I like the idea of Salt Creek being the best in the world at creating a community of revision in writing as well as all content areas. When people come to our school to view student work at Salt Creek, they will see work that is polished and obviously had alot of attention and effort put into revising the published work. An excellent student project may have been revised five or more times, before parents or the public views the piece of work. Therefore, rather than focusing on pumping out project after project, we may want to consider producing fewer projects. The projects that we do have students work on could be well refined projects that may take the entire school year to be published.
