@Sierra Berzell....there is no reason to go and talk badly about players or accuse them of voting for themselves. It has already been mentioned in an earlier post by Harold Herald that the herald is not going to name a winner from this informal poll and that it is just here for fans to think they have a say in it. So next time you start bad mouthing an outstanding athlete just like all the others that got nominated for this award think about the fact that its not a popularity contest and that the decision is made by the ones that are offering the award....let the girls have fun and good luck to them all.

In the post earlier about the possible cheating I was in no way accusing the young lady from Everett. I have no doubt she is doing everything in her power to have her family and friends vote for her just as we are for Trysten. I was questioning the paper and the poll as I had received over 300 texts and Facebook messages from friends that had been trying to vote and were not being aloud but yet at the same time I was watching all the votes for the young lady from Everetts votes raise and raise. So if I offended you young lady I am so sorry it was in no way meant towards you personally and Im sorry if it came off that way. Again I apologize.

Why are these Trysten fans so defensive? Nobody has ever even heard of this girl. How many times was she mentioned for having an outstanding performance this season? Rumor has it she has been voting for herself from several different computers everyday. Anyone else could have that high of votes if they had time to sit there and vote for themselves repeatedly. This entire thing is a joke. And sorry Trysten fans, more than likely the herald won't be using this to actually name the player of the year...it's just something fun for the readers to do! What the Heck is going on with this link? I have people trying to vote and its not working. This is so unfair. What the Heck is going on. I see other peoples votes going up rapidly but I have lots of people trying to vote and they are texting and facebooking me telling me their votes are not being counted what the Heck is that about? The Herald has turned this into a popularity contest. 90% of the people voting are only doing so because someone told them who to vote for, they have never watched any of these players play, therefor are not making a fair vote based on the playet's actual performance this season. It should be left up to the local coaches like it has been in the past.

Im not sure why the other poster finds this unfair. Weren't these girls nominated for the award in the first place and now they are being voted on by the public at large correct? These girls are all deserving and Im sure they know that. They have worked hard to be the best they can be at their sport. Stop trying to make it about something its not.
