I repeatedly redialed Phillip Phillip's number, but a few times it told me thanks for voting for contestant one (Jessica). What a major bug. It happened to my wife's phone too.
There is no way I dialed her number since I would just tap the number that is on my phone. There was no other number.

No. That's because when those people won American Idol, the genre they specialized in was not popular. Carrie Underwood? Heck yeah, she just released a new album not too long ago. Do you know why she has done so well? Because when she won, country was and still is popular. Jessica Sanchez, tries to stretch her voice. She tries to be another Alicia Keys or Jennifer Hudson, but guess what? None of these people are listened to very often. Phillip Phillips is an original, American Idol is all about finding someone who is different, who doesn't sound like everyone else, he fits this category perfectly. If Jessica wins, she won't have an amazing career ahead of her. Look at Scotty McCreery, he is widely known and listened to, when he won, country was popular. Phillip has a better chance of sucess.

As others have pointed out, Jessica is a good IMITATOR, but there is nothing original or creative about her. She will never be much more than a decent karaoke singer; I just don't understand what some people see in her. X-Factor winner Melanie Amaro blows Jessica out of the water, but even Melanie is not going to have a great career because most people just don't care for power ballads any longer........
for me jessica will win season 11 philip may have been unique but the voice of jessica has this insane range it was more suited for american idol than philip. i'll go for jessica amazing singer.

While the show was boring with the songs from Phillip Phillips , Jessica has the voice & the talent to sell not to take anything away from Phillip, but lets face it J-Lo appears to like Philips & that is why during the last few weeks she has wanted him to advance.
