    Of course it is political. Anyone who doesn't think the Catholic church is religious is blind. It is one of the oldest and most powerful political engines on the planet. All you need to do is read and know a little - just a little - of their history.

    the constitution protects religious activities from government interference. But the activities of religious controlled businesses, are not religious activities, but Business, and all business must heed the rules for all other business. to give any business group a release from regulations is to give that business group an advantage.Now if the regliously controlled hospitals, served patients for free, that that would be charity and charity and prostelizing is what religions do. Business runs corporations, and business enterprise. RELIGION IS RELIGION - BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.

    It's constitutional. If the mandate was to be allowed it would be the very beginnings of the total destruction of the first amendment.
