The egg itself is impressive, but other than that the town is your typical small, quiet farming community with not a whole lot else to do?

Our Easter Egg (Pysanka) is a big hit with all visitors. I have sat eating my lunch in the park and watched all comers having their picture taken with it. I have even been asked to take the picture for visitors. A favourite pose for most is with arms raised so that the visitor looks like he/she is holding the egg up. Construction of the egg was quite an engineering feat and you can read the story on the plaques near the egg.

A LOWLY Easter Egg? Who is the writer here? Easter symbolizes the resurrection of Christ....I sure hope that you don't celebrate it at all..no chocolates, no dinner, nothing. If you had referred to some East Indian or Asian symbol as lowly, there would be riots. Shame on you.

Not only is the Psanka the largest Easter Egg, it is a weather vien. The queen came to see it in 1978 by train and the Train Station
